Itinerary in Details of Lhasa Kathmandu Mountain Bike Tour

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu evening briefing about tour and dinner.

Day 02: We endorse Chinese visas; you check out bikes, equipment half-day rides & sight seeing in KTM

Day 03: Fly KTM to Lhasa . Drive to hotel build up bikes, O/N Hotel.

Day 04: Easy ride around Lhasa , to visit: - Norbulinka, Jokhang and Sera Monasteries, O/N Hotel.

Day 05: Visit Drepung monastery and Potala Palace . Rest of day free to explore Lhasa . O/N Hotel.

Day 06: Ride to the Chusul, 100% paved road. We follow the Lhasa River all the way down. O/N GH

Day 07: Drive to top of Khamba La, cycle down to and around Yamdruk Lake till Nagatse, O/N GH.

Day 08: Cycle or drive up Karo La ride down to Gyantse, O/N Hotel.

Day 09: Cycle down to Shigatse and visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, O/N GH.

Day 10: Drive and cycle upto Lhatse. O/N GH.

Day 11: Cross the highest pass today, Gyatso La 5220m. Ride or drive as much as you want O/N Xegar,GH.

Day 12: Climb Pang La for panoramic views of Everest, Cho Yu and the expanse of Tibet , O/N Tashi-Zong, Rongbuk valley.

Day 13: Cycle upto Rongbuk Monastery. O/N Rongbuk Monastery.

Day 14: Visit base camp today and return to base of Pang La GH. Or visit hot springs near Tingri.

Day 15: Cycle over Pang La and along the valley to Tingri O/N in GH here or Gusto further down road.

Day 16: Start descending the biggest down hill in the world from Tibetan Plateau down, O/N Nyalam GH.

Day 17: Keep descending downhill into Nepal today. See trees appearing and rivers grow. We cycle upto Dolalghat and then drive to Hotel in Dhulikhel, O/N GH.

Day 18 : Ride last section from valley rim into Kathmandu via Nala and Bhaktapur, transfer to Hotel and farewell dinner. O/N Hotel.

Day 19 : Departure or Optional programme.
