The religion is reflected by astonishing stupas, pagodas and monasteries distributed throughout Nepal. Boudhanath lies peacefully in the middle of a busy city Kathmandu watching the city with its mesmerizing eyes. Boudhanath is the biggest stupa in the whole South East Asia. Another enormous stupa, Swayambhunath situated at the top of a hill lies to the North West corner of Kathmandu city. From Swayambhunath, you can have the view of whole Kathmandu valley and its dazzling settlement. The ruins of ancient palace of the then “Sakya Empire” is fascinating. In this royal family, Prince Siddhartha was born who later left the palace and started meditation. After he was enlightened with knowledge, he was known as Lord Buddha.

ITINERARY

Day 01: ARRIVAL:

You will be received at the International Airport by Plan Nepal Travels and Tour staff and take you to the hotel where you will be discussed about the plans of your adventure.

Day 02: Explore Buddhist monuments in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur (Patan) Valley are treasured with 12^th century and 13^th century old arts and architecture thriving throughout generations. The places of interest are Pashupatinath (Hindu temple), Boudhanath (Buddhist shrine), Kopan Monastery, Swayambhunath (Buddhist shrine, popularly known as monkey temple). If you have more time then you can visit some more places in the valley. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 03: Discover Namo Buddha Monastery

The drive to Namo Buddha Monastery from Kathmandu is 02 hours. Namo Buddha is a legendary place with a famous myth. A prince living at this place sacrificed himself to save a starving tigress and her hungry cubs. He was thought to be reincarnation of Lord Buddha. The monastery in Namo Buddha lies at the top of a hill engulfed by the green landscape. The arts and architecture of the Monastery is simply stunning. After your visit you can drive back to Dhulikhel tower to view the Langtang Himalayan range. Then you will be driven back to Kathmandu Hotel. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 04: Flight to Lumbini

The flight to Lumbini is approximately 45 minutes. After an early morning flight, the excursion can begin with the visit of Maya Devi temple, the birth place of Lord Buddha and drooling around the ruins of palace that belonged to “Sakya” emperor of that time. There are few other Stupas around built by different countries each in their own unique style. These Buddhist Stupas are enthusiastically fascinating.  Lord Buddha was born here and spread “Buddhism” from this very epicenter. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Lumbini

Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu

You will be driven back to Kathmandu in a tourist couch. The duration of drive is 08 hours. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 06: DEPARTURE
