Makalu Region Trekking- Exploiting The Natural Riches

Makalu region is a restricted region and it falls under Makalu- Barun Conservation area. Before entering the Makalu region, you will need to buy special permits and you need to do make some special preparations. Makalu Mountain is the key factor of attraction to this region and Mt. Makalu is 8463 meters high which makes it the fifth highest mountain of the world. Moreover, exploring Himalayan lifestyle and culture adds more color to the trek. The spectacular views of Mountains, Lakes, Glaciers, Rivers and green forests makes Makalu trek a wonderful trek. However, accessibility to Makalu trek is not very easy which is similar to the trekking in Everest region. The trek can be organized only on the basis of camping. Makalu trek is recommended for those trekkers who want to taste the classical trekking method of Nepal and those who wants to trek in the less frequented area.
